Sri. P N Ramachandra Iyer trust was formed by four trustees - Sri. P R Natarajan, Sri. Raghavendra Rao, Sri. Ramakrishnan and Smt. Ananthalakshmi Natarajan in 1997 to provide financial support for the various spiritual and cultural activities which she had initiated. The trust has done yeomen service in funding numerous activities throughout the year such as Jagannatha and Sharadamba rathotsavams, chandi homa, rudra parayana, etc.
Some of the important activities of the trust include providing scholarships for needy and merited students, to provide encouragement to children not only financially, but also morally and psychologically, organise visits to various places to spread our culture, and conduct upanyasams, promote the performance of Dance-dramas based on themes like Geetha Govindam, etc.

Through the P N Ramachandra Iyer trust, Smt Ananthalakshmi Natarajan has built a community hall named “Nanda Kishore Bhavan” at Vidyaranyapuram, Bangalore. This Bhavan is being utilised by people from all walks of life to promote Bharathiya Samskriti and to undertake activities of Sanathana Dharma. The hall has been sanctified by the presence of His Holiness, the Jagadguru of Sringeri, who visited the place in 2007 and blessed the devotees. |
The trust also undertakes publishing of books pertaining to Sanskrit, Mythology, traditions of the Sanatana Dharma, etc. Some of the publications of the trust include -
- Shaanmatam - Collection of stotras on various deities compiled by Smt. Ananthalakshmi Natarajan. This has been brought out in both Devanagari and Kannada scripts, and also in Audio cassette and CD forms.
- Geetaamruta Mahima - Regarding the Bhagavadgita, in English and Kannada
- Nayanmar Santaru - describing the life of Nayanar saints in Kannada, authored by Smt. Anantalakshmi Natarajan
- Pavanapurapatimahimaa - on the Lord Guruvayurappan, in Kannada, authored by Smt. Ananthalakshmi Natarajan
- Shivaleelaamrutam - A Kannada translation of the Sanskrit Mahakavya of Neelakantha Deekshita. (In print).
All activities of the Geetha Govinda Samskrita Sangha (Vyalikaval branch) are funded by the P N Ramachandra Iyer trust.
