Activities of GGSS - 'प्रतिभा'
'Pratibha' is the annual inter-school talent festival organised by Geetha Govinda Samskrita Sangha in the month of June every year in Bangalore. Pratibha was started in the year 2000, with an aim to provide a platform to school-children to show their talent in literary and cultural events focussing on Sanskrit and Indian Culture.
The tenth year of 'Pratibha' was celebrated in June 2009, and competitions were organised not only in Bangalore, but also in Sringeri, Mumbai and Chennai. Nearly thousand students participated in the various events, and the winners were awarded with invaluable books such as the Valmiki Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagavadgita, Ashtadhyayi, Amarakosha, etc.
